In fact, I think it would have been cool if the Media hadn't came out with the story that the SeALs were prepared to fight their way out of Pakistan. It's just the way they done it. And if America suspected Pakistan of harboring Bin Laden, then Obama should have came out and said it. Don't say - "Oh, well Pakistan has been a major help in fighting terrorist." That sounds like some shady sh**.

In all fairness, if a major terrorist killed 3,000 Pakistani civilians and then took refuge in the US, we would help them flush him out, not give him safe harbor. Ergo, your point is fairly mute. We do not behave like Pakistan, so we would not expect to be treated the same as we treat Pakistan.

Yes, we would be royally pissed that our sovereignty would be violated that way.
The reason Obama is to be commended is that he made the decision to do just that, the key as to why he is responsible is that decision. Without his personal say so, so grievous a breach would not have happened, and Osama would still be planning his killings.
Now is when the diplomacy comes in, and so Obama praises Pakistan...and peace can go on with both sides pretending not to notice what really happened.
Which doesn't reflect well on Pakistan, but at least they could save a little face there, and that is how to avoid one more pointless war.
