I have a 2010 Acura TL and I have heard this with other cars as well.
In order to unlock the doors I basically have to put the key right up to the door (in my pocket) and touch the handle.
If this were a security feature, I'd think a thief would have an easier time just pressing the unlock button near every Acura in the parking lot.
Why can't the doors unlock when I'm within maybe 5 feet of the car?
What's going on here?
