renew my contract for free? My blackberry is broken, ergo, I need a new cell phone.
I have 2 year contract with Telus (signed February 16th, 2010) so on the 16th of this month, it will be 6 months until the end of my contract. I have heard that I can get a new phone and renew my contract for another 2 years for free from there. Is this true or not?
I talked to a Telus client care provider on the phone and they mentioned something about if I wanted to cancel my contract I had to pay 20 dollars for each month coming up that I was signed up for, and then on their site, it said something about paying 10.00 times the number of months remaining of my contract, and then paying the price for the new phone (Since the one I want is free on a 2 year contract... not much problem there.)
So can I or can I not get a free renewal? (as in, get a new phone for free and not pay anything, not 60$, nothing.)
