so im only in 10th grade and i know a lot of people think that im starting too early but i want to be prepared. i am already preparing for the SATs and have signed up for classes. so ever since i was little i always wanted to be a lawyer. its been my DREAM for as long as i remember. so ive been looking on a lot of diffrent sites, seeing what i should do to prepare, what classes i should take and all that. however alot of prestigous law schools require over a 2000 SAT score and over a 3.5 GPA & they also normally only accept students within the schools 10% precentile. now see, when i signed up for the SAT classes they made me take the SAT and i didnt study for it or anything i just took it and i got a 1440. i know its not the greatest but keep in mind, i didnt do anything to study for it or prepare for it. this program is for a year. do you think its possible for me to improve up to a 2000? also, im not the smartest kid but i do work hard torwards anything im truely determined for and this IS DEFINETLY something im truely determined for. there are alot of kids that are smarter then me and i do not think that i wll make the 10% percentile. please help, let me know your advice. let me know what classes i should take in 11th & 12th grade, what extra curricular activities i should be participating in, any jobs that i should get for experiance, any volunteer work and all that. for example, do you think i should try and get a summer job or internship with a newspaper? anything PLEASE that you think is helpful. THIS is my dream and im ready to do anything and everything i can possibly do to make it come true. please don't comment any crap here, only comment if you feel you can truely help me. thank you in advance.
