Improving breathing in exercising/daily life.?

My current condition is that I take short breathes when I do any physical activity and I get tired easily, figuratively and physically. I can recover fast, but I never have consistent energy in any activity and in daily life. In basketball or running, I always get tired. In daily life, I feel tired all the time and I constantly yawn and take naps.

1. I believe this has something to do with my breathing, am I not getting enough oxygen in my system?
2. In daily life, should I constantly breathe in through my nose?
3. Should I breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth when I exercise or should I just constantly breathe in through my nose (apparently breathing in the nose and out through the mouth ensures you don't breathe back your CO2)?
4. Should I take in deep breathes or short breathes in exercises/daily life?
4. How do I improve my breathing capacity in activities (like for swimming, I can't hold my breathe for long)?
5. Should I yawn? Whenever I take deep breathes through my nose, I get the urge to yawn, but I can easily take another breathe and not yawn. Yawning is supposedly because your body isn't getting enough oxygen, so should I yawn?

Thanks for reading.
