I am aware of the really famous events and such, but I'm writing a story for literature, and need extra informtion. Unfortunately the only helpful historical books in my library, are non-circulating. Go figure.
The setting is Williamsburg, Virginia but any events in the surrounding area are heplful. Thanks!

I might point out that I meant the Revolutionary War. You know, 1770's. General George Washington, General Cornwallis.......British against the colonists.
