Still I suppose that will stop the UK Government attempting to change the education system again!
Excellent timing of this release of information - just after the exam season.
I should think that everyone involved in education from students and teachers through to college lecturers are now feeling really highly motivate seeing this article?

How will Mr. Ed Balls 'ead this one away?
 
its about time that something changed, the dumbing down of the Britsh education system simply appalls me.
Anyone who says that exams are not getting easier are kidding themselves...
At my sons last parents evening, I was informed that in order to get an "A+"...you needed to get 70% or higher!! Utterly disgraceful
In my day to get an "A" you had to get 90% or higher, as it shoud be!
All this does is to fool the kids into believing they are smarter than they are, thus setting them up for failure when they reach later life or university
Its a sham
