(extracellular gram negative bacteria) has? Doing an assignment, need help:

A strain of pathogenic Salmonella enteritidis (extracellular gram negative bacteria) has managed to bypass the intrinsic barriers of the intestinal epithelium and establish an infection. Please describe the innate response at the site of infection (limit your discussion to the first 4 days following infection up to and including the process of DC migration to the mesenteric LN) (8 marks). As a scientist, you wonder what immune cells are most critical for bacterial clearance. Identify what innate immune component you hypothesize to be most important and why its functions are indispensible for bacterial clearance .Using in vivo animal models, develop experiments to determine what innate component/immune cell is most critical for bacterial clearance (2 marks).
