Imipramine??

I'm a 37 year old Male who has been on Lexapro 20mgs for about two years. My anxiety has been much better but still bad in the mornings. I've consulted my doctor and he prescribe me Imipramine to go along with my Lexapro. I've never heard of this drug, has anyone tried this drug and can you tell me if it has helped you out? Any side effects I should be aware of? He told me to take 25mg every night before I go to sleep.

It's a really old drug but works well for anxiety and will make you sleep better. Caused me a lot of dry mouth when i was on it and a racing heart sometimes when I exercised.
 
Definately experience Dry Mouth....

How long before I can notice the full effect of the drug when I started it.
