imageready or something similar...i just need to get the HTML! Help!!!?

Because I'm making a dic overlay, I need to code it. The only way I know how to this, is to use Adobe ImageReady and it's to do with slices?
Does anyone know of a way around this problem?
Is THIS the only way you can code divs/overlays?

HELPP!!!
