to get your navigation bar go to
veiw >show toolbar> and then navigation bar should pop up
as for the talking i'm pretty sure it would be in your setting somewhere.
i have the iMac under your one
so i don't know if mine does it or not
but i hope the navigation bar thing helps

Hello Alexis O,

Okay, your cousin got you into VoiceOver. This is feature for people who can't see very well. To turn this back off, you go into your System Preferences. Under the System heading, click on the Universal Access icon. Once you are in that screen, under the VoiceOver section, click the off button. Then you just close that window. That should do that.

As far as Safari; go up to the View > Show Toolbar menu command and everything at the top will come back up.

If you're going to have your baby cousin play with your computer, maybe you should invest in a good Macintosh book. I recommend you buying "Mac OS X - The Missing Manual" by David Pogue. Best of luck to you.
