iMac help. :( driving me crazy. please help?

Okay, so on my iMac I use safari and your not able to right click. You can right click, but nothing happens. no little window thing pops up with copy/paste options. etc. Well when you right click on lets say, Internet explorer, there's something that says 'download to target,' how do you DO THAT on an iMac? :( How can you download something to a target? Please please help. I'll love you forever. :)
 
Well I have a mac OS X 10.4.11 and on this computer you go to system preferences, then click on keyboard and mouse where it will show a diagram of the mouse where you can change the labels. Click on the label on the right hand side of the mouse and change it from primary button to secondary button. I don't know if it works on an imac but it works on my mac. Hope this helps.
