lead paint? I have lead paint in my apartment and I'm worried about my kids getting lead poisoning. I asked my landlord to fix it and she said she was going to paint over it. But I thought the only way to eliminate the danger was to remove it? If she just paints over it instead of removing it, can I decide to move out even if I have a lease. I was unaware of lead in the apartment when I moved in and was uneducated about the dangers. I'm not convinced painting over it will be an effective enough fix. I have an appt. to get my kids tested for lead next week. (They are 1 and 3 years old) Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance!
