Lately he has not been the same person. He was always such a sweet down to earth guy. But lately he has become depressed, irritable, and withdrawn. He keeps to himself. He tells me he is suicidal. He snaps at me over text, calling me horrible names over trivial things, then begs me to forgive him. He says "I dont know whats happening to me please dont leave me!!" then he will snap at me again later. He tells me he is paranoid all the time now and doesnt know why. He says it started a few months ago and hes getting worse.
I'm a woman and hes my friend (or was) but I have feelings. Should I blame him? Or do you think hes being honest and might be mentally ill? I dont know what to think.
