I'm visiting China, and want to import electronics to sell?

This is just an idea I thought of and wanted to know how can I go about buying electronics in China to sell in the US? Is there tariffs on things like mp3 players, cameras etc and would either China or US customs have any concerns? I will probably only spend 1000 at the most. thanks for you help
