I'm using MAC Leopard and on iChat, can you tell if someone is in the middle of

a video chat? There are times that I see people with the video chat symbol. Other times it is gone but they are on a computer, otherwise the airport sign, indicating that they are using a cell phone, would be visible. Does this absence of the video symbol mean that they are in the middle of a video chat already?
