I'm not sure. But read some romance novels, watch some movies, watch television shows, listen to some popular music and get some ideas. Ideas are easy to find because, no offense, that plot is extremely overused and cliché. I'd go with another more unique plot.

okay so i am trying to write a teen romance book but once i get to the part where they meet i just can't make it interesting. i want them to be infatuated with eachother so much that they need eachother to like survive but i can't figure out how to make that happen without it getting dull. i've thought of a few twists but don't think that it will work because they always end up weirdly. does anyone have any advice. or ideas? remember it's about teens. maybe sixteen. i would like the guy to be older and kind of brooding and bad
 
maybe you can have him being all bad asking her if she wants to go a party she can think "oh this could be bad but look at him he's so gorjues." then later thiers rumors about him about how bad he is but she finds out none of it is as it seems
