I'm trying to think of a film about a killer clown...

......Its bugging me that I can't remember it!

Last time I saw it I was about 9/10. I remember it was either a clown or a joker/jester type thing in a house which a family moved into. He would gradually kill them off one by one. He scared the little girl by when she ran it was never ending and she couldnt find the door the she hid under a dust cover and he got a mallet and beat her to death. There was also a little boy who was sat in an emty room listening to his walkmen and the clown/jester thing comes dancing up behind him and puts something in his ears and electricutes him. I can't remember what he did to the parents. Then at the end you see another family drive up to the house.

When I saw it I was sooo scared I couldn't sleep properly for months :eek: but I bet if I watched it now I'd be fine and think "well that was rather pathetic" :p
 
The one that freaked me out when I was little was the one under that girl's bed in one of the Poltergeist movies!! Freaked me out for years

From the OP's description, it wasn't that film i.e. 'It'

The only other one I could think of was John Wayne Gacy, but that didn't fit either, hence the link I gave above.
 
Was it Victor Salva's "Clownhouse"? Now lives on more for the memory of Salva being a child molester and being convicted of videotaping his abuse of one of the kiRAB in the film. He was also responsible for the awful "Jeepers Creepers".
 
Im sure there's a film called killer Clowns, or it sounRAB a bit like one of the puppet master films.

Me and my brother use to love watching IT when we were younger, he had a thing about Beverley Marsh, and he said i was like Ben Hanscom lol:)
 
Omg! Lol ha ha ha! yeah thats it! :D omg it looks utter shit! but believe me when I first watched it I was shitting myself everytime the light was turned out at bed time for months :o
 
O God just reading that made me all goosebumps!! I hated that film, scared the crap out of me and 10 years after I saw it I'm still terrified of clowns!!!
 
God, that just reminded me what an awful film 'IT' was. I couldnt stand the way the clown was portrayed, with the deep "menacing" voice which was just laughable. He should have been played in the same was as Johnny Depp did Willy Wonka. That would have been a scary clown, then.
