I'm trying to start my Civilization 4 on my MacBook, and its a mac game, ?

When i try ti start the game it says this:

XML Load Error
Failed Loading XML file Assets/ /XML\GameInfo/CIVPlayerOptionInfos.xml.
 
call the info hotline for the game, it should be on the box or manual. i had it for PS3 and mine didn't work when i got it. i called the hotline and they had me change something in my settings then it worked. i don't remember what it was i changed, but just call the hotline and see what they say.
