Im trying to get on the chat line and its not working with my best thiinking today. Can

I get some help pleas? I wanted the chat line so I believe I signed onto Yahoo Messenger to get there. I can't figure out what or where is the Messenger menu. Im suppose to hit the messenger menu and it drops down and I am suppose to select the Chat line. Thats it. Help
