I'm trying to find the title of this book its something about a game...?

I know its not Enders Game. Okay, heres what I remember...
something to do with robots at the beginning so it's set in the future, I remember that somehow these kids get stuck inside this parallel universe and they cant figure how to get out. Then I remember something about a device... they can't figure out how to activate it and I think it's how they get out? I remember them hunting for food too... they found fish hah... Sorry I know its VERY vague please help
