When I was young, I read a children's book about some sort of goblin. He was invited into this man's house, and he ate all his food and drank all his cider. He stayed for a long time, and he slept in the man's bed (nothing creepy, he just completely took over the man's life). There was also a cat involved. So, the "goblin" got really fat, and the man rolled him out the door. Does anyone know the title of this book? Please help!
