im trying to figure out what vortec v6 engine i have in my 1994 chevy

cheyenne stepside 1500 can anyone help? Im curious as to how many liters it is and other additional information horsepower, etc. just to see what i can do to improve its power and performance as well as speed.....it says v6 vortec on each of the valve covers but im not sure which vortec it is....its a 1994 chevy cheyenne stepside 1500
