The "Main Satire" is the "hypocrisy" of fundamentalist religious people, who "claim to be Christians," and yet do not practice "justice, forgiveness, or mercy" when it comes to "their own" personal tragedies...
I mean...to be a Christian, one would have to assume that Christians felt a deep and abiding sense of compassion and mercy for a guy like Jesus, who was arrested, prosecuted, and eventually tortured and murdered for a crime he did not commit...
So...
How could "people who claim to be God-Fearing Christians," not have the "same sense of mercy, compassion, and justice for a simple black man accused wrongly of a crime he did not commit?!?
