I'm trying to create my own band flyer in Adobe Photoshop, but I don't know the

right dimensions/details!? OK, so I'm trying to create a gig flyer for my band. Here are my questions (sorry I have so many, but I don't have anyone else to rely on to help me do this stuff)

1) what are the dimensions for a standard gig flyer?

2) To print it out on paper, do I need to use CMYK? And do I set it to 300dpi?

3) If I just want to post it on the Internet, do I need to set it to 72dpi or 300dpi?


4) Okay, If I want to send it to a newspaper, what are the typical specifications that they ask for. JPEG? 300dpi? 72 dpi? CMYK?

I apologize for all these questions :( If you answeres these, you'd have no idea on earth how much you'd be helping me right now.
 
1- 8.5 x 11(standard) or 11 x 17 (tabloid)
2- if it is really detailed it can be 300
3- internet is 72 usually
4- you have to contact the news paper because they will have a size limit and they may have a word count for ads. all newspapers are different and ad prices are based on size and or words
