Im trying to create something that is exampled in the first few seconds of this video. http://vimeo.com/3966544

Its a bleach/ fast glow effect in video editing. I am currently editing on Final Cut Express, but I am wanting to know how I can achieve this effect?

Any help would be much appreciated!
