I'm trying to add two pull down menus to a C#/ASP.NET page?

I'm trying to add two pull down menus to a C#/ASP.NET page linked to an access table. I can get the first pull down menu to work and filter appropriately using a TableAdapter however I can't get the second pull down menu to filter against the the same table.

For example:

Pull down menu one: Red, Green, Blue
Pull down menu one: balloon, car, sweets

Data

Colour - Type
==========
Red - balloon
Red - car
Red - sweets
Green - balloon
Green - car
Green - sweets
Blue - balloon
Blue - car
Blue - sweets

From the first menu I select Green
From the second I select car

The table is then filtered to show only: Green car
I've found a solution by modifying a table adapter.
