what are the CIF rules? As a freshman, I am going to be transferring to a new school over the summer. I go to school in Califronia, and I am going to play tennis and badminton in high school, and I am under the CIF Southern Section rules. The two schools I am transferring to and from are in different leagues. Practice has already started for tennis for the school I am in right now, but practice for the other school (the one that I want to transfer to) has started a week ago. Tryouts for both schools may be at different time and dates as well.
I would like to know: if I get into, for example, varsity in the tennis tryouts for the school I am in RIGHT NOW, and then when I transfer to the other school, will I be put in varsity as well for that school's team, or do I have to go through their version of the tryouts?
