ABNORMAL BOY

Hi. I'm a 18 years old boy. I study in college and i was thinking of buying a bike to travel faster on campus but I was scared I'd hit people or cars but today I bought one but I'm now scared to use it. I really don't want to get in trouble by hitting pedestrians or cars because its crowded with students in the morning. Even today when I just bought I almost hit a car. How can I take away my fear?
btw I used to drive a car in my hometown... i was scared too and everytime I went i was so terrified
I need to use the bike so I don't be late for classes next term but I just regret i bought it
