Im Fourteen and i know im a bit young to be worrying about this but its really bugging me.

Ive Been into photography for about a Year now. I Love taking photos and seeing a good photo makes me smile. Its my Hardcore passion.
But Ive been reading alot of Photographers Blogs and Such and Such and Ive noticed that probably 90% of the ones ive seen all say its Extremly Difficult To Have a Succesful Photography Career seing as there arent that many jobs for it.
I Love Skate Photography & Id Love to do it but im scared if i do a degree for photography then i cant get a proper job that it will be too late to go back.
Oh and One Tiny Detail. Im not that good at photography.

I & some people around me say that Im pretty good at drawing and that i should become an artist. & too that i tell them that Photography is my passion . I Love drawing & Ive always wanted to collab with some people to design things. I Dont care what im designing Id just Love to have a product with my Drawings on them. I Dont draw people. Just retarded Monsters and Fcuked up Backgrounds.
Although id realllllly enjoy doing Graphic Design ,Photography is my Passion But im scared i wont make that industry..

I Guess im asking for your Honest opinion of what you would do if you where me :

Thanks
Second pararaph when i say .. ' I and some people around me' Scratch the I part :)

Graphic design is just as difficult. High turn around etc. If you go about it the right way learn about the business aspect as well as the art. Learn contract law, negotiating, accounting and marketing. Know what it takes to stay in business. The reason our market is so hart is artist who don't have a clue, give away their work, don't charge enough to sustain their business. Top that off with amateurs who don't even want to try and learn the business claiming they are only wanting their images be seen you can see how it is really difficult to make the clients understand there is a value to once creative work. This problem is not exclusive to photography it crosses all creative professions. You also don't have to restrict yourself to one media. Most artist have more than one talent which can compliment each other. Don't give up your dream just be smart about how you archive it.
