and everything is? working properly. I have spark, I have fuel, I have ignition timing, I even check my breakers and fuses. The darn thing still won't start. It turns over nice and strong and it winds like it wants to start but it won't do it. I was about to buy a fuel pump but I checked at the carb and it is getting gas so I didn't bother. What could I be missing? My car is a 1984 tercel 3AC motor. Could I have the wrong size battery? I don't know, any suggestions out there?
I have a new distributor, I have checked the plugs for spark. When I crank it the carburetor is popping out white smoke four at a time. There is fuel at the carburetor I loosened the bolt at the front of the carburetor from the fuel pump and it was pouring gas.
