Delta airlines requires a health certificate for pets traveling as cargo, but it says that they do not require it for pets being brought as a carry on, although (depending on the state) they may ask you to show it when arriving after flight. I'm flying out of Florida and into Illinois. My pet doesn't have a health certificate because she's getting all of her veterinary work while we are in Illinois. Is Illinois a state that will require me to show that as I'm getting off the plane?
