im starting college soon and im bricking it !?

lol i have like a week and a half before i start college and im not going to know anyone because im a year older than everyone, so i know for a fact im going to end up with a bunch of young girls that only talk about boys, clothes, make-up and im just not one of those type of girls. im one of those who are down to earth and dont like small talk and just want to chill but how can i chill if i am surrounded by ninken pooops ,, i just no that they arent going to get my sense of humour but like as they say life goes on .. i just thought id tell you because i would like some interesting feedback in what i should do about it ... actually i dont even know what im expecting the answers to be :/
