Just comes down to ignorance is all. Jap bikes are great if that's what you want, quite frankly i don't like vanilla ice cream and I definitely don't like vanilla motorcyles; which is how i would describe my riding experience with honda's.

I personally wanted a Twin, not a 4 banger, and Ducati pretty much makes the best twin so that's that. I might have considered a Jap twin if they made a decent one.

I don't get the jap hate. Could understand a little Harley hate. They are heavy, slow, mechanically lame etc. Just now fun really. I had one and did not like it no matter how hard I tried. I don't consider my Honda Vanilla. I honestly can't decide which I like more, the Duc or the Honda. I did name my new pup after the Duc
