Casual Catastrophe

I'm almost 22 and have only ever had 2 girlfriends in my life. Granted the second was for over 3 years till she cheated on me but that only served to create all kinds of trust issues that I now have. People always tell me that the best way to solve this problem is to forget about trying to find a girl and just focus on doing the things that I enjoy and suddenly it will just happen. Well that doesn't work so well when the things that I enjoy involve staying at home and doing things like building r/c aircraft or going with a few guys to off road our Jeeps. It doesn't help that I HATE bars/clubs because I can't stand crowds or drunk people and I don't approve of drinking or sex before marriage which is basically all those kind of places are about and are where everyone says to go to meet women. Also I'm in college and 99.8% of people love to drink at every possible moment so I'm always left out. It literally feels like the only way I will ever find someone is if I go door to door with a dating profile or if the right girl comes knocking on my door. I just don't know what to do anymore.
