I'm selling a Mike Phone, and need to know more info?

The plan and the phone number is attached to the simcard and not the phone so if you were to switch the simcard to another phone - your number and plan will get switched too since it's attached to the simcard. Hope this helps.
 
I'm selling my Motorola Mike i876w and I was wondering if someone were to buy it, could they just switch their chip from one phone to the other (if they had another Mike phone) and then the number would transfer to the new phone..?
Or how would they go through with that. How would one get all the information from their previous Mike phone onto a new one, including the number?
