Somewhere, there is a verse in the bible which, effectively, says that if someone continues to offend you you should cut them out of your life. It is not worded just like that but the meaning is similar. Does anyone know the verse to which I refer?
This verse is not saying that we should not forgive nor does it imply we do not wish them well anymore. It means, I believe, that we should isolate ourselves from those who choose to, repeatedly, harm us in word or deed so that they can harm us no more.
