...a new idea? I'm a little unsure about my book idea, I would like to write it but sometimes I feel like I can't. It's not in my area of expertise. I love my idea though and I have developed it to my liking. I will give you my idea and I would appreciate a little feedback on whether it's cliche and if I should keep writing it.
The main character is 15 year old girl named Tara Rose Lockhart. Tara's father is never around due to work and one day their family get's the news that her father died in a accident. The only one in the family who knows the truth about everything is Tara's older brother Matthew. No one beleives him so he is in a fight with the family. He dropped the whole issue until recently with the event of their father's death. At the funeral Matthew tries to tell Tara but she dismisses him and walks away. About a week later Tara and Matthew's Mother goes missing. Tara goes to Matthew's apartment and Matthew tells her and she finally accepts what Matthew has to say. Matthew tells her that their father was actually a M.I.S.S.I.O.N. agent a.k.a. a spy of sorts. He was murdered on a mission and the same people who murdered him have kidnapped their mother. So first they go to the government to try to find their mother. Along the way they meet a 16 year old guy named Jace who tells them that his father was a spy too. He tells them the truth but leaves out the fact that he is one too. So when the government failed to find their mother they decided to try themselves, including Jace. During this time Tara and Jace find themselves falling for each other. In the romance there are a lot of difficulties within the characters. In the end they find their Mother and their father is with them, it turned out to all be a trap to get the family together as one. They win the fight and it ends well with Jace and Tara finally together and the family safe. I am planning on there being a sequel or a few. I will see.
