I'm really nervous about my first job at a restaurant - any tips?

So I turned in my application and they hired on the spot. I'm going to be working with my best friend Allison, and she said the boss is mean. I really just don't want to screw up and embarrass myself. Basically all I'll be doing is cleaning tables, but I might also have to take peoples' orders.

Any helpful tips?
