cross the country with.? I am well aware of the laws I will be breaking and I understand all the dangers... But I really think it would be great. Could anyone link me or give me information about how I could go about making a bike like this, or tell me if someone has tried it before?

you wont get far without be arrested for trespassing and possible
interference with inter-state commerce a federal offense
as your bike might not trigger railroad signals or the crossing gate

By helping you with this anyone who gives you ideas and suggestions would be an accessory to a variety of crimes and liable for manslaughter in the very likely event that you are hit and killed by a train.
Getting hit by a train, not so fun. Not only that but many railroads go through desolate areas without a lot of houses. A bike fitted to railroad tracks would only work on the track, meaning you would have to walk long distances to do silly things like get some sleep or buy food or water.

Well they have trucks like this a bike would be every difficult youi would to ballance on the railway. but you could do something with four wheel that would make it easeir. do u men something with a engine,
Becaus eif u really wante d to you could build it yourself with some metal and weild some wheeels to a farme it would be very expensive and very heavy and hard to move but i think its very bad idea why not just get a car

I have this crazy funny image of a little blue dinasour riding a bike as fast as his short little fat blue legs can go with a huge big NS engine right on his tail coming down the tracks. Beside the train is the FRA RR police frantically chasing to catch you and arrest you for trespassing and endangerment ... and probably because dinasaurs are extinct and hard to find blue ones that ride bikes they will exploit you and become rich and famous ex RR police.....
