I know, I'm only 13, but I'm really interested in being a Professional Photographer when I'm older.

I love taking photos of things, mainly nature, like plants, forests etc. But I also like taking photos of people and other things.

My family tell me I'm really good at it and so do my friends.

So is there any advice anyone could give me about it? And what do I need to study when I get older, if I'm still interested in it?!

Thanks for all your answers!

If you have a Photography class in your school, take it. Otherwise there might be one at college which you can go to once you're 16.
Even join in Art clubs at school, just to feel more comfortable with creativity.
Taking an Art GCSE Option would probably help too.

Also, there are many sites which you post your photos and people can comment, and tell you what you should do to improve.
I know that there is:
deviantart.com
photobucket.com
flickr.com
and teenagewriters.com (in the Art - Photos section)

But really do experiment with your camera, read up on articles on the internet on how to improve and set your camera to the best possible mode a scene, and generally practice!
Have fun (:
