u shudnt have to ...but u wont get teh full effect of teh intake if u dont....i wud suggest doing the send off method cas most companies that do it offer a lifetime reprogramming so if (when) u make more mods or even return it to stock they will reprogram it for u....speed shop will jsut do it the 1 time.....good luck

to mess with the computer? I'm doing the work myself and wasn't sure if I'd have to take my Car to a performance shop to have the computer reprogrammed or send the computer off to have it "tweeked" or not?
