So, there's this one class that I haven't been to for weeks. My professor takes attendance pretty much every section and it counts for a grade. I know for some classes, if you don't go a certain number of times, you fail the class no matter what. But it doesn't say so on the syllabus how many one can miss. I'm going to email her to set up an appointment, but I'm really not sure what to say. She seems pretty strict and I think she'll be pissed at the lack of effort I've been showing, and I can't drop the class, because I really need to take this many hours. What should I tell her?
I'm thinking of just being honest and saying I haven't been putting the work in, but I'll try, but I think she'll be pissed at me anyway.
