Im just thinking of buying a 1996 Mazda 323 for my birthday when im 17or 18, by this time it would be 16 or 17 years old... is this TOO OLD!!?!?

If it ever needs repairing (it will cause i want to install a sunroof) will it cost alot because the car would be old?

how much does it cost to get it converted to an automatic? if its a manual.
