Hi, I'm a sophomore in high school, I am on the debate team and need help.
I joined late with my friend as a team and missed the first few meetings where the explained how to really debate and how it works. I have a debate coming up in a little less then two weeks and really don't know what I'm doing. My friend is doing the first affirmative and I the second affirmative. Our topic is teen pregnancy. We have research material but I just do not know how to do it or how a debate runs.
The first affirmative I know is similiar to defining the resolve but the second affirmative is a plan.
If you can give me tips on how to right one or any LINKS that would help, please send them!
Any advice you can offer is GREATLY appreciated!
