It seems that my situation has gotten better to a certain extent but I can't start becoming undisciplined with my diet.

I'm happy that my method worked for me.

I'm glad it's going well for you! Let us know if there is anything you have questions about.

Hey Karsa,

I'm a 29 year old male (we seem to be a minority of LPR sufferers) so I think it would be good to share info. I am starting to see improvement after a couple weeks on ppis. I too want to get off of them the second I feel its safe to do so. I really love a story of someone who feels better after a bout of LPR and I pray for those who don't feel good right now, because it's a pretty stressful thing. It's cold comfort to think that there are worse things, because I have had pretty bad IBS much of my life, and I'd take that every day for the rest of my life just to be free of the risk of ever having LPR again in the future. So I think that's saying something. I still have phlegm and things feel stiff and weird in teh back of my throat, but overall, I just feel so much better than a week ago.

Hoping and praying for the continued improvement of you, me, and all of us. I'm also hoping the bloody doctors will get on this subject and figure out how to properly deal with it!

Anyway, let me know tips for what helped you get through it, what diet works lifestyle things worked for you, and if you feel 100 percent most of the time now.

Thanks
SS
