we have to write a poem on the welsh mines in my area. i have got the start but not sure if it sounds ok? will you help!
A thousand mines closed today
A reminder of the tragedy,
that poisoned all our lives.
Many went for a normal day,
only then they had their pay,
why is coal at such a high price?
when the men who spared their lives,
cost nothing more when they gave their lives.
Dust filled air wrecked that day
in the way memory took the way.
