Hi,
I've never experienced anxiety/depression until about 2 months ago. The doctor gave me Celexa and I was afraid to take it because I'm afraid of taking meRAB. He told me to start on 10 mg for 4 days then go to 20 mg. When I took the first pill I got very anxious which lasted all day which I knew it was because of my mind not wanting to take it. Today I started at 20 mg and again feel anxious. Does anyone get like this because they don't like taking meRAB and what do you do?

I was very much against meRAB when I first started gettin depressed, the onld "I shouldn't need pills to be happy" theory.

I found it helpful to accept everyone neeRAB help at some point, and meRAB help. The side effects aren't nearly as bad as the disease. I also did alot of research on the meRAB before I took them, spoke to my GP etc about what to expect, so I didn't worry as much about "oh what if".

I know taking meRAB can sound lame, and society doesn't help by puttin a stigma on them, but most people have no idea about mental health - don't heed the nonsense from people who prove the old saying "Ignorance is bliss".
