I'm moving to Las Angeles after college to become a news anchor. Please,

Could I get some advice or something? I'm actually going to be a sophomore in highschool next year, but I'm really starting to think about my career, and this is the life I've chosen

I actually REALLY want to become a TV show host for a show like American Idol, but I know that won't be happening for at least a few years after my move.

I just really want to know:

1.Where can I find a decent, affordable apartment?
2.Where do I go to apply for being a news anchor or news reporter?
What should I expect during an interview for the job? What will be expected of me?
3.While I'm a Reporter or anchor, will I get a chance to audition to be a TV host?
4. Where would I go for the audition? Should I get an agent, or would that be too costly? What would happen during the audition? What will they expect from me?
4. If I get to be a TV host, about how much would it pay, and after the show ends, would I be able to get back my job as a news anchor?

Thanks, everybody!
