Im in the debate club at my school but i'm not into politics that much so I don't know much about the national budget and taxes an such. Our topic this year is to argue whether or not the federal government should increase funds for social services. I am for it and I need to make a plan. I have one but I don't have the financial information like how much it would cost (it's a housing program), where the money would be coming from, how much each class is taxed, etc. anyone know a good, reliable website to get that information from?
